Frequently asked questions

How do I report a player or inappropriate content?

Open the player's profile, tap the ••• menu, and choose Report. Pick a reason and add a note if you'd like. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content that violates our guidelines.

How do I block someone?

On the player's profile, tap ••• and choose Block. Blocked users are hidden from you and can't follow you. You can manage and unblock people anytime in Settings → Blocked accounts.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Delete account. This permanently deletes your profile, runs, follows, saved courts, and photo. It can't be undone. If you'd prefer, email support@hoopme.app and we'll handle it for you.

How do I keep my data so I don't lose it?

You can start as a guest, but adding an email saves your account so your profile and runs stay with you across devices. Add one from the prompt on your Profile (or in Settings) — we'll send a one-time code, no password needed.

Why does HoopMe need my location?

Location is used only while you're using the app to show nearby courts and calculate distances. We don't track you in the background and we don't store your raw GPS coordinates. You can change this anytime in your device Settings.

A court is missing or has the wrong info.

Let us know at support@hoopme.app with the court name and location and we'll get it fixed.
